Magnum Ventures Ltd:-Penny priced stock to rock

Scripscan:Magnum Ventures Ltd
Traded in:Nse-bse

Story:Magnum ventures has been engaged in trading and manufacturing paper for the past 25 years. The company uses waste paper to manufacture writing & printing paper and duplex boards with an installed capacity of 85,000 million tonnes per annum. With the modernisation of its paper plant, the company will be able to fully utilise its installed capacity. Magnum Ventures owns land in the National Capital Region (NCR) with about 4,00,000 sq ft built-up area and it intends to set up a four-star hotel with 212 rooms. It has tied up with the Carlson group to set up ‘Country Inn & Suites’ on this property. The upcoming Commonwealth Games in ’10 have drastically increased the demand for hotel rooms in the NCR.Modernisation of the company’s plant and efficient manufacturing process will help it at the operating level.Real estate prices in the NCR have sky-rocketed. The management is in an advantageous position in that regard, as this land is very old and is situated in a prime location. In order to capitalise on land appreciation and not part with the land, the company adopted a continuous revenue stream model of operating a hotel. Once 70-80% of the hotel construction is completed, the company will demand high valuation. At 5rs I feel the counter has no downsides and should reward investors with huge returns going forward.A solid buy.
