Zenith Infotech Ltd,Goodyear India Ltd and Todays Writing Products Ltd:Future growth prospects and outlook

1)Scripscan:Zenith Infotech Ltd
Traded in:Nse-bse

Story:Another stock, whose price has been steadily going up during the last three months, is Zenith Infotech Limited (ZIL). Promoted by Raj Saraf, who helped the spread of PCs in India through a range of low-priced offerings, ZIL also supplies various products to managed service providers worldwide. SAAZ and Virtual NOC, two of its products, are used by clients globally including Sony, Carnegie Mellon, Pentel, Ferrari, Honda, and Philips. It is also engaged in web infrastructure maintenance, client/server re-engineering, database development, network integration and middleware technology such as COM and CORBA.The problem is that it is a small company with governance issues. Besides, at the current price level, the stock looks very expensive though future prospects looks good.It has been a good performer over the past few years as per the numbers are concerned.A risky buy which may favour the investors over the longer run.

2)Scripscan:Goodyear India Ltd

Story:A 74% subsidiary of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. US, Goodyear India is among the best-known tyre brands. It has a very wide product portfolio including tyres for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, tractors and earthmovers. The tyre sector has been doing extremely well for quite some time now with lower input costs fuelling bottomline. This, in turn, has helped the component manufacturers to improve their performance on the back of higher demand. One problem with Goodyear is its margin. Operating margin and net margin over the years has been extreamly low at sub single digit respectively. This leaves it vulnerable to even a slight fall in revenues or a rise in cost. It has been expanding years after years to cope with the higher demand. That apart, it also plans to set up hundreds of exclusive outlets in the next few years. Valuation looks attractive and with the tyre sector having a dream run on the bourses goodyear may just be one of the best sectorial performer in the days to come.A hot buy at dips.

3)Scripscan:Todays Writing Products Ltd

Story:Companies servicing the education sector have been doing well, thanks to favourable demographics and rising literacy levels. Today’s Writing Products (TWP) has managed to create a niche for itself in a highly fragmented and unorganised segment. The company manufactures and markets writing instruments and stationery under the ‘Today’s’ brand, which has high awareness among consumers across all age groups. It has a technical tie-up with Korea’s largest writing instruments company, Mon Ami, which has a strong presence in the writing instruments industry worldwide.TWP’s stock price has risen over 50% in the last five months. The company has, among others, Bennett Coleman as its key shareholders. The management is bullish about the future prospects and aims to become one of the largest pen manufacturers in India as well as one of the largest exporters of pens. It expects revenues to cross Rs 500 crore over the next few years at an annual growth rate of around 40%.Is this a reasonable target? Decided and do accordingly.
