Story:KamanwalaHousing Construction Limited (KHCL) is a company with a 20-year track record.They are based at Mumbai, the commercial capital of India.As Mumbai has alwaysfaced a major shortfall in residential as well as commercial properties,Kamanwala has been performing significantly well.Kamanwalahave 12 ongoing projects spread across the prime location of Mumbai like central and western Mumbai -Bandra Kurla Complex, Andheri, Santa Cruz, Malad and Versova. Mumbai’sFilmistan studio is owned in partnership by Kamanwala and they are coming upwith development of this 7 lakh sq ft of land to a shopping mall.Kamanwalahas entered into joint venture with M/s. Prajay Engineers & others to construct atPatancheru, Hyderabad. The work has already began.The companywill achieve a turnover of Rs.1800 cr in 18 months( March 2011) due tocompletion of its projects which totals up to 20 lakh sq ft.Theyare dividend paying company. Last year they gave bonus.Nisha Suman Jain is holding a major quantity of more than 10 % and in bulk deal it shows that she is increasing her stake at every stage. She is HNI who is director of Jainson Group of Industries, Build2 Last Infrastructure and a film producer of Maalik Ek.Religare holds a good amount of quantity and they are in the process of increasing it further.According to management, ICICI is entering the stock at the level of 42. HDFC has also approved of this stock for investment.A good buy at dips.
