CCL Products (India) Ltd:-Buy/sell/,growth prospects and recommendation, news and results, target price and analysis, views and outlook, multibagger

Scripscan:CCL Products India Ltd
cmp:188
Code:519600

Story:CCL Products (India) Limited engages in the manufacture and sale of coffee products. It manufactures instant/soluble spray dried coffee, agglomerated/granulated coffee, and freeze dried coffee. The company offers its products in various packs, such as jars, tins, and sachets/pouches primarily under the Continental Special, Supreme Instant, Cafe Soluble, and Continental Classic brand names. CCL Products is relatively insulated from the vagaries of the coffee price cycle as it maintains low inventory levels. Prices of its products tend to move in tandem with prices of coffee beans, the raw material. However, the company remains exposed to fluctuations in the forex market as it derives majority of its revenues from export of instant coffee to the European Union, Russia, Japan and the US.Depreciation of the major currencies against the rupee tempers its realisations. With its foray into the freeze-dried coffee, CCL Products has entered the higher value-add instant coffee segment. Though margins in the spray-dried coffee segment are likely to stabilise at current levels, better realisations in the freeze-dried coffee business are expected to enhance its margins. After its expansion,With a larger scale of operations in India, CCL Products is better placed to tap opportunities in the domestic market. Potential for growth in the domestic market exists, as revenues from this segment are marginal. Further, the growing demand for instant coffee is expected to sustain operating levels at its spray-dried facilities. With a consistent satisfactory operating margin the stock appears attractive. At current valuations, the stock will be a good pick in the small-cap space. At current price levels, the markets have not fully factored in CCL Products' growth prospects.
