Story:First Leasing Company of India Limited provides various financial services primarily in India. It engages in lease financing, hire purchase financing, and providing loans. The company offers short term leases, long term leases, operating leases, sale and leaseback, hire purchase, consumer credit, inter corporate deposits, and fixed deposits. It leases various assets, including plant and machinery, cars, furniture and fixtures, computers, and windmills. The company serves information technology, information technology enabled services, banking, financial services, consultancy, telecom, engineering, energy, advertising and entertainment, publications, data research, agro products, and hospitality industries. It also engages in wind power generation.SPIC group co First Leasing is poineer in leasing industry in India and has uninterrupted dividend track record. Its financial performance has always been consistent.Now, promoters have decided to exit First leasing and have put their 27.28% stake on the block. It is reliably learnt that Zurich Re, Tata Capital and Tamasek Singapore are in the race to acquire promoter's stake. As per our inside source, deal will be finalised around july. Most likely Tata Capital may clinch @ Rs 175 per share. Offer of Zurich Re is supposed to be @ 164 and that of Tamasek @170.Deal will be at around 1.25X Book Value(book value is 135rs)
