Story:Rexnord Electronics and Controls Limited engages in the manufacture and sale of instrument cooling fans, exhaust fans, and motors used in industrial and domestic purposes.Its products include AC axial fans, exhaust fans, AC to DC converter fans, DC brushless fans, condensor cooling and evaporator motors, double shaft motors, basket grill motors, ventury frame motors, and no frost and water cooler motors. The company also offers accessories, such as aluminum impellers, plastic impellers, metal and plastic finger guards, and metal stands. Its products are used in computer hardware equipment, power supply equipment, textile machines, injection molding machines, and photocopying machines, as well as in the refrigeration industry.Rexnord is now embarking on a higher growth path.The last financial year has seen a quantum growth in exports and its marketing team is formulating aggressive strategies to ensure deeper penetration especially in the European Union and the Middle East.To accentuate growth,the core focus of the company has been around qualitative initiatives, which has led it to invest heavily in R&D.This increasing focus will help it gain the required momentum in the market.As a part of the expansion plans, the company has acquired a new plant in Maharashtra, which should be functional by the end of next year.It has also identified overseas locations as potential targets and have drawn up aggressive marketing strategies to penetrate there at a rapid pace.The numbers are expected to be robust in the coming couple of years which makes it a good buy at dips for long-term investments.
