Story:NHC Foods Limited manufactures and exports Indian spices and food stuff worldwide. The company offers various oil seeds, including natural sesame, hulled sesame, black sesame, brown sesame, niger, safflower, mustard, and sunflower seeds, as well as ground nuts; rice and pulses comprising moongdal, urad dal, masoordal, toor dal, chana dal, chana, rajma, and chick peas; and spices, such as chillies, turmeric, coriander seeds, celery seeds, fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, dill seeds, cumin seeds, black pepper, ajwain, tamarind, and ginger.It also provides animal feeds, which include shorghum, soyabean meal, rapeseed meal, sunflower extractions, groundnut meal, and barley products; agricultural feeds, such as maize; and honey, papads, and pickles. The company, formerly known as Midpoint Software & Electro Systems Limited, was founded in 1960 and is based in Mumbai.Net profit of NHC Foods declined 57.58% to Rs 0.14 crore in the quarter ended December 2011 as against Rs 0.33 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2010. Sales rose 46.60% to Rs 24.82 crore in the quarter ended December 2011 as against Rs 16.93 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2010.Boring financials and little idea about management's quality makes one wary in the counter.Exit it at rallies.
